What We Do

Complete Auto Care,
From Tune-Ups to Transmissions

Every service comes with a clear explanation of what's wrong, what we'll do about it, and exactly what it'll cost — before we touch your car.

Oil Changes & Fluid Services

Conventional, synthetic, and high-mileage oil changes. Plus coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and power steering fluid exchanges.

Brake Repair & Replacement

Squeaky? Pulsing? We inspect, resurface, and replace pads, rotors, calipers, and brake lines. Free brake inspection with any service.

Engine Diagnostics & Repair

Check engine light on? We use professional-grade scan tools to pinpoint the issue — then explain it in plain English with an upfront estimate.

Transmission Service

Fluid flushes, filter replacements, and complete rebuilds. We handle both automatic and manual transmissions with quality parts.

Suspension & Steering

Shocks, struts, ball joints, tie rods, and wheel alignments. If your ride feels rough or your car pulls to one side, we'll get it straight.

Air Conditioning & Heating

Louisiana heat is no joke. We recharge AC systems, fix leaks, replace compressors, and make sure your heater blows hot when you need it.

About Us

Built on Reputation,
Not Advertising

JJ Automotive Solutions started with one simple belief: every driver in Chalmette deserves a mechanic they can trust. Not a dealership with hourly rates. Not a chain shop pushing services you don't need. Just honest work at a fair price.

We've spent over a decade earning the loyalty of our neighbors — from the single parent who needs her car running reliably to get to work, to the weekend warrior who brings in his project car. We treat every vehicle that enters our bay the same way: with the care and attention we'd want for our own.

The JJ Difference

Why Chalmette Keeps
Coming Back to Us

We Explain Before We Fix

You'll know exactly what's wrong, why it matters, and what it costs before we start turning wrenches. No jargon, no pressure.

Fair Prices, Every Time

We quote the full price upfront. What we tell you is what you pay — no hidden fees, no "while you're here" upsells.

Quality Parts, Guaranteed

We use OEM or equivalent-quality parts on every repair. And our 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty backs every job we do.

Your Time Matters

Most repairs finished same day. We call you with updates, not excuses. And we always return your car cleaner than we found it.

Testimonials

What Our Customers Say

Don't take our word for it — hear from the people who trust us with their cars every day.

"I've been bringing my cars here for years. They always tell me exactly what needs attention and what can wait. No pressure, no inflated bills. That's rare to find."

Marcus D.

Chalmette, LA

"My brakes were making that horrible grinding noise and I was dreading the bill. JJ diagnosed the problem, showed me exactly what was worn, and the price was fair. They even called when they finished early."

Tamika R.

Arabi, LA

"Brought my truck in for a check engine light that another shop couldn't figure out. JJ had it sorted in under an hour. Turned out to be a simple sensor — they could've charged me for a lot more. Honest folks."
